Volunteer

Do you think walking is good for body and soul, good for people, good for the planet?

If yes you are like a lot of us today and throughout history. Britain is criss crossed by footpaths and pilgrimage routes, but where to stay at night restricts their usage, there are not enough places for people to stay overnight, indeed there is hardly anywhere for them to stay, while on their walking journey.

Do you think churches could play a pivotal role in walking pilgrimages by providing simple resting places for one night for people arriving without a car or back up vehicle?

Can you spare some time to further this cause. Volunteers are needed to contact churches, design and build compost toilets, help with planning issues, help with spiritual guides, help with practical guides?

If you would like to help, by donating time or money (needed to build compost toilets/bothies/key pad locks), please contact this site.
